Music
Hi there, music fans!
We get our clients fully involved in each aspect of the group and many of the instruments we use have been made 'in house'. We enjoy all types of music from rock 'n' roll to jazz, from 60's classics to Max Bygraves (yes, I did say Max Bygraves).
Once the music has started you can guarantee it won't be long before, unable to contain themselves, someone is up dancing. David does a remarkable tribute to Adam Ant, Craig is more like Michael Jackson than the man himself. Angela loses control when she hears the wailing of the bagpies. Her Highland Fling is a sight to behold! Christopher really is too sexy for his shirt.
The staff are not immune from the music bug and have been seen to form part of the 'Love Train' when the O'Jays are being played, often disappearing through the door for an alfresco boogie.
Music is very important in most people's lives, and here at Skillshop we are no different. Music can evoke memories of a special person, place or time in our lives, it can also help us to exercise or just relax. These are just a few of the reasons we decided to have a music group at Skillshop every Tuesday afternoon - and they are proving to be extremely popular.
